Bachelor of Science, Health Administration degree program at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine!
South Hills is a fully accredited post-secondary career school with locations in State College, Altoona, Philipsburg, and Lewistown, Pennsylvania. Established in 1970, South Hills offers over 15 degree and diploma programs in the areas of health, business, legal, and technology.
The Diagnostic Medical Sonography program is a 3-year, Associate in Specialized Technology degree program accredited by the Commission for the Accreditation of Health Education Programs, or CAAHEP. It prepares individuals for a career in which high-tech equipment is used to assess abdominal organs such as the liver and kidneys; the heart in adults, children, and even the fetus; blood flow within veins and arteries throughout the body, and brain structure in newborn infants.
Upon completion of the DMS program at South Hills, successful graduates are eligible to articulate into the Bachelor of Science program in Health Administration (BSHA) at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine, with 80 credits earned at South Hills accepted in transfer. This leaves only 48 credits for the student to complete with Saint Joseph’s College to earn their BSHA degree!
